A journaling tip: Diary, notebook, or journal?

So what do you call the book (digital document) in which you write your thoughts and experiences?

Is it a diary, a notebook, or a journal?

Some will say there are clear differences between each, and are very animated about this.

I, however, say to call it whatever you want. As long as you write your thoughts and experiences in it, the name of it really doesn't matter. Call it whatever will increase the chances you write in it and do so often and much.
